I'm Andy Burke

From leading bomb disposal operations in the military to shaping high-stakes decisions in the private sector, I’ve spent my career helping leaders think critically under pressure. As an MBA graduate, certified Red Team Thinking Instructor and accredited EMCC coach, I equip businesses with the tools to challenge assumptions, uncover blind spots, and make smarter, bias-aware decisions.

My mission? To help leaders and teams navigate complexity with confidence and clarity—turning insight into action for lasting success.

My Story

I’ve always thrived in high-pressure environments—whether as a Senior Army Bomb Disposal Officer or leading teams in the private sector. Throughout my career, I saw how cognitive biases and unchallenged assumptions led to missed opportunities and poor decisions.

Determined to change that, I became a certified Red Team Thinking Instructor, EMCC-accredited coach, and MBTI practitioner. Now, I help leaders and organisations challenge conventional thinking, strengthen decision-making, and create real impact.

Why I Do It

Critical thinking and bias-aware decision-making aren’t skills most people are taught, yet they are crucial for success in business and leadership. Throughout my career—both in high-stakes military operations and corporate strategy—I saw brilliant people make avoidable mistakes simply because they weren’t equipped with the right tools to challenge their assumptions.

I became passionate about Red Teaming and strategic facilitation because I know firsthand how powerful it is to see problems from new perspectives, anticipate risks, and make smarter decisions. My mission is to help leaders and teams break free from cognitive traps, navigate uncertainty with confidence, and create real, lasting impact in their organisations.
